Charlottesville Blues FC brings together talented men and women pursuing the next level of the game. Many travel to Charlottesville for the summer and need a supportive local home while they train, compete and represent our community.
Host families provide stability, connection and a genuine sense of belonging. In return, families build meaningful relationships with the players and become part of the Blues experience from the inside.
A SIMPLE, SUPPORTIVE COMMITMENT
WHAT HOSTING INVOLVES
A WELCOMING HOME
- A private, air-conditioned bedroom, if available
- Linens, towels and access to laundry
- A shared or private bathroom
- Kitchen and refrigerator access
- Clear household expectations and communication
- A safe, respectful and welcoming environment
PLAYERS REMAIN INDEPENDENT
- Hosts are not responsible for transportation
- Hosts are not required to provide meals
- Players manage their own laundry
- Players maintain their personal living space
- Hosts are not expected to provide financial support
- Players coordinate team and training logistics
