FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Charlottesville, VA – November 25, 2024 – Get ready for an unforgettable 2025 season with Charlottesville Blues FC! The club is thrilled to announce its new home at Charlottesville High School, marking the start of a multi-year partnership to elevate the soccer experience for players and fans alike. This exciting collaboration will bring bigger action, better facilities, and unparalleled experiences to the Charlottesville community.
Co-owner Brian Kuk expressed his excitement about the transition:
“The 2024 fan response was amazing. We simply outgrew our last location and needed a more professional-level stadium,” Kuk said. “With this venue move, Charlottesville is now in contention to bid on hosting USL playoffs and championship matches, further cementing our city’s place on the soccer map.”
The move to Charlottesville High School represents more than just a venue upgrade—it’s a pledge to the community. Co-owner Brian Krow emphasized this in his statement:
“This new venue partnership is all about the community, which is the epitome of what we stand for; it underscores a deep commitment to the players, fanbase, and local and regional businesses, fostering a stronger connection between the team and the vibrant community that supports it.”
Andy Jones, Athletic Director of Charlottesville High School, shared his enthusiasm about the collaboration:
“It’s astonishing what the Blues did after one season. Charlottesville High School is a soccer school that won the state championship last year. When the Blues approached us with their strategic vision to elevate the game in Charlottesville, we knew we had to be a part of it. This multi-year deal brings the community together around Charlottesville Blues training, camps, and the match day experience at one home venue. It’s a great day to be a CHS Black Knight and CVL Blues Fox!”
With a professional stadium boasting a 3,500-seat capacity plus 1,500 standing room, the Blues also introduce the Fox Den Season Ticket Package, the most fan-friendly offering in the team’s history. For just $35, fans will receive an all-access pass to every match from May through July 2025, covering both USL Two and USL W teams.
